Velux.
Velux loft conversions are one of the simplest, most efficient and affordable conversion, with the least disruption to your home. This type of conversion adds a Velux window in line with the angle of the original roof, offering increased natural light without impacting the structure of the roof.
Dormer.
Dormers are one of the most popular loft conversions. They are ideal for houses with lower roof lines as utilise the area effectively, creating maximum space. Adding in a modern dormer window will bring in as much natural light as possible, creating a generous and relaxing living space within your loft.
Hip-to-gable.
The majority of homes have ‘hipped’ roofs, meaning that one side of the roof is sloped, leaving space quite limited. Hip-to-gable loft conversions extend the sloping side of the roof to create a vertical wall, creating a much more defined - and functional - space in your loft.
L-Shaped.
An L-shaped dormer is where two dormer builds join together, usually with one built on the main roof and the other built on the rear outrigger roof - giving the L-shape. These types of conversions are usually only suitable for Edwardian or Victorian properties and add heaps more space, great if you own a mid-terrace property.
Mansard.
A mansard loft conversion has a flat roof, with the back wall sloping inwards at an angle of 72 degrees. Windows are usually housed within small dormers which extend from the roof to create additional space. This is the perfect conversion for adding an additional bedroom, playroom or just a place to chill!
Double Mansard.
As the name suggests, the double has a mansard conversion to the front and the rear of the property. This is only available in some areas of London, due to planning restrictions.
